Ealing Common, 1st of May 2013

Cemento e cultura urbana confezionati nello stupore dell'avvenimento. Oggi a Uxbridge. London.

Walking to the tube of Ealing Common, West London. Suddenly arise a lot of dumb books placed on a low wall. To be taken for free. A gift with an unknown genesis between the palaces of the huge city. Cement and urban culture wrapped in the wonder of the event. Today in Uxbridge. London.

Tottenham Court Road Station, 6st of May 2013

The London tube. With its escalators, lifts, underground anxieties, races in order to not miss the last which take you home, millions of passengers that every day put together the existential puzzle. In the tube, you always spend your time expecting that the surface will come soon. But sometimes you can hear, among its cement and iron burrows, the Radiohead song No Surprise: sung by a beautiful voice. In these cases, let the train pass and just stop yourself listening. So the surface can wait for a whike and another train will pass.

Camden Town and China Town, 10st of may 2013

1) I love Hawley. What else? Sono veri o no? Non l'ho mai capito. Dubbi urbani pervenuti dal Celeste Impero.

1) I love Hawley. A pub wherein upstairs is playing a Stone Roses album and downstairs, in the gentleman toilette, those of Bob Marley. In the heart of Camden and below the gray skies of the global city. What else? 2) I found out that the tube map, in the smoky areas of China Town, holds a completely different anthropological meaning: as much as the orange squids displayed in the shop windows of Oriental restaurants. Are they real or not? To be honest, I've never understood. Urban doubts received from the Celestial Empire.

Covent Garden, 16st may of 2013

"From Mali to Mississippi." A documentary edited by Martin Scorsese that looks at the roots of blues music in the delta of the Mississippi River and in Africa. Sometimes these black roots drives into the veins of the global metropolis. In the frigid torpor of the London spring, at the Blues Bar survives an heat sphere called Southern Comfort. The black blues of the Mississippi.
